Who we are

Hollow is a ghostwriting service. "We" and "us" mean Hollow; "you" means the person or company using the site or hiring us. You can reach us at hello@usehollow.xyz.

The work

We write content for you to publish under your own name: posts, newsletters, articles, speeches, books and similar. The scope, price and schedule of each engagement are agreed in writing before work starts.

Each piece includes two rounds of revisions. We aim to deliver within 48 hours of a complete brief; books follow a schedule we agree at the start.

Every word is written and edited by people. We don't hand you machine-generated drafts.

Fees and payment

Prices on this site are in US dollars. Monthly plans are billed monthly in advance, and book projects are billed in stages set out in your agreement. Invoices are due on the date shown on them, and we may pause work on overdue accounts.

Unless your agreement says otherwise, you can cancel a monthly plan with written notice before your next billing date. Work already delivered or in progress is not refundable.

Who owns the writing

You own everything we write for you, with full rights to use, edit and publish it as your own, from the moment it's delivered. We won't claim authorship or credit, and we won't reuse your pieces for anyone else.

Our general methods, templates and know-how stay ours.

Confidentiality

We keep everything you share with us, and the fact that we write for you, confidential. We'll sign your NDA before the first call, or provide ours. This lasts beyond the end of our work together.

Your part

You confirm that what you give us is yours to share, and that you're responsible for what you choose to publish. You review and approve each piece before it goes out, including any facts, figures, claims or quotes, and you follow the rules of any platform you post on.

We may decline work that we believe is unlawful, defamatory, deceptive or meant to harm someone.

No guaranteed results

We write to the highest standard we can, but we can't promise particular outcomes such as followers, engagement, sales, press coverage or a book deal.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Using this website

The site is provided as it is. Please don't copy its design or text, try to break it, or use the enquiry form to send spam. We may update the site, our prices or these terms at any time; changes apply from the date shown at the top and don't change agreements already signed.

Ending our work

Either of us can end an engagement as set out in your agreement. You keep everything that was delivered and paid for, and confidentiality continues afterward.
